About Briones School

Dear Juana Briones families,

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am proud to be the principal at this fabulous elementary school where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our student population this year is just under 320 students. We truly are a small neighborhood school where every student feels welcome and included.

We're excited to be in our 5th year as a Project Cornerstone School. Together, we work as a community to build developmental assets in our students so they will become resilient adolescents and young adults.

OUR PROFILE

We are a neighborhood elementary (K-5) school located in the Green Acres community in Palo Alto. A majority of our students live in the immediate neighborhood and many families have lived in the area for several years, if not decades. We are one of the 12 Elementary Schools of Palo Alto. There are currently 3 strands (or classrooms) for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades and 2 strands in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades.
